Overview

The programme provides applicants with a core knowledge and the higher technical skills in Transport, and focuses on the practical application of knowledge and skills in both the academic and Work Based Learning components of the programme. A universal approach to the course coupled with opportunities to work with students from other Higher Education programmes will enable participants to gain an appreciation of the importance of a team approach in the modern and vibrant Transport sector. This multi-disciplinary approach is critical to ensure the successful and timely delivery of Transport and Supply Chain Management projects.   • Entry to the BSc Honours Degree Top-Up programme requires applicants to have successfully completed a Foundation Degree (or other relevant Level 5 qualification such as a Higher National Diploma) in a related discipline, qualifications deemed equivalent or by the college’s policy relating to APEL. Students must also hold GCSE English Language and Maths at grade 4 (grade C) or above (Essential skills numeracy, BTEC Level 3 Mathematics or Essential Skills Literacy).

    Assessment of core modules will be by a combination of Course Work, Professional Report(s), Presentation(s) and Examinations. *The minimum overall pass mark of 40% is required to be achieved in all modules.

    Upon successful completion of the BSc Hons in Transport & Supply Chain Management programme graduates may consider entering into employment within the transport and Supply Chain sector or continuing to study by applying for a place on a post-graduate programme i.e. MSc
