South West College is based in Northern Ireland, one of the four countries of the United Kingdom, and is situated to the northeast of the island of Ireland. The College is situated in the Southwest of Northern Ireland a country with a long and proud history of both national and international interaction. The College is less than 90 minutes from Belfast, and offers a safe, community friendly learning environment with proximity to the Republic of Ireland, the rest of the UK and Europe.

Our four campuses are in Omagh, Dungannon, Cookstown and Enniskillen, in the centre of each respective town. Northern Ireland is known as a place to inspire, a place to nurture and a place to grow and is renowned for its inspirational locations, stunning landscapes and the friendly people. Each campus offers easy access to some of the unique locations and stories around it, from the unique stories of Saint Patrick to Titanic Belfast and its breath-taking scenery such as the Mountains of Mourne and the Giant’s Causeway.

The Southwest region, in, is one of the most picturesque parts of the country. Taking in the two counties of Fermanagh and Tyrone it consists of a mainly rural population, with rolling fields, rivers and lakes, making it an ideal setting for an inspirational learning environment. Popular tourist destinations include the Marble Arch Caves, Cuilcagh Mountain, Lough Erne, the Ulster American Folk Park, and many sights and landscapes associated with Game of Thrones.

Located a stone's throw from the “Hill of the O'Neill” our biggest campus in Mid-Tyrone, sits a 10-minute walk from the town centre and just over a 5-minute drive from the M1 motorway 40 minutes from Belfast.

The Dungannon campus provides in-house beauty and hair salons a range of building trade workshops, mechanical workshops, professional kitchens and the latest in computing technology throughout our classrooms.

The campus has a particular focus on the engineering sector due to its proximity to Northern Irelands largest collection of engineering manufacturing companies. Our sector leading Engineering Hub offers support and training for this industry at all levels.

The campus is also located adjacent to Dungannon Leisure Centre, Mid Ulster Council offices and Omniplex Cinema. There is an onsite Restaurant and Bistro, and the campus also has ample free on-site parking.

The Omagh Campus is home to first-class teaching and learning facilities, including hairdressing and beauty salons, IT suites, restaurant, innovative media facilities and science laboratory. It also includes a new fantastic state-of-the-art sports performance lab.

Our Cookstown Campus is located just off the main street in Cookstown. SEN Life & Living Skills programmes make up the majority of provision offered on this campus our 'Welding Academy' workshop is also located nearby.

The campus also houses our business innovation hub ‘The Innotech Centre’. The InnoTech Centre at South West College provides specialist Research, Development and Innovation services to businesses and entrepreneurs. The Centre aims to help businesses develop by providing flexible access to technical support, modern equipment and industrial training.

The building also houses Cookstown Library on the ground floor and has ample free parking nearby.

Technology & Skills Centre (Including CREST)

Our Technology & Skills Centre is located just off the Belfast Road in Enniskillen. It is a satellite campus of the main Erne Campus and houses our construction trades programmes, motor vehicle courses and the wrap around courses which enhance these vocational areas.

The campus is also located adjacent to our ‘CREST Centre’ (The Centre for Renewable Energy & Sustainable Technologies).

There is an onsite restaurant and coffee dock, and the campus also has ample free parking nearby. It is also a short 10-minute walk / 5-minute cycle from the centre of Enniskillen.
