This qualification is a work related, competence based qualification. It reflects the skills and knowledge needed to do a job effectively, and shows that a learner is competent in the area of work the qualification represents. Learners will have access to state of the art machinery and equipment which will enable them to work in the Land Based Engineering industry.

The Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair covers complex faults in cars and small vans. Learners will be taught how to diagnose faults using the correct diagnostic procedure.
