The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) have published a list of schools and colleges that have achieved CyberFirst recognition at Gold, Silver or Bronze level. By achieving Gold Provider status South West College have been recognised as delivering excellence in cyber security education.

    School leaver James Rafferty from Dungannon found that the popular Higher-Level Apprenticeship route at South West College was the best undergraduate path for his career in Construction Engineering. James completed his Ulster University Foundation Degree in Construction Engineering with Surveying at the Dungannon Campus, which allowed him to learn, work and earn from the moment he started his foundation degree.

  • Survey reveals 52% of motorists are considering a move to Electric Vehicles

    A recent survey developed by Transport Research Partners in association with the FASTER Project partnership examined the attitudes of motorists and road users across Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland (Border Region) and Western Scotland to the usage of electric and low emission vehicles. 1,485 responses were received, with 52% of all motorists indicating that they were considering the switch to an electric vehicle when making their next vehicle purchase.

  • Lyons officially opens new £30m Erne Campus of South West College

    Economy Minister Gordon Lyons today officially opened the new £30million Erne Campus of South West College in Enniskillen. Standing at 8,200 m2, the new, fully accessible, state-of-the-art campus opened its doors to students for the first time at the beginning of September and can accommodate 800 full-time students, 2,000 part-time students and 120 staff.
