Funding Support for Students
This course aims to develop students’ knowledge and understanding of facial electrical treatments in the beauty industry. It also aims to develop students’ skills in preforming facial electrical treatments which are aligned to industry standards.
Students who do not hold a qualification in hairdressing/beauty will need to undertake a unit in health and safety at an additional fee of £45. Students will be required to purchase a uniform and a waxing kit is recommended.
This course consists of two modules which provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively preform facial electrical treatments in the workplace. The treatments covered within this course include High Frequency, Faradic, Vacuum Suction, Galvanic, Microcurrent and Microdermabrasion. Students will engage in practical assessments within the realistic working environment to ensure they can effectively deliver these specialised treatments.
Level 2 Beauty Therapy or equivalent.
Practical observations, assignments, or online test.
On completion of this qualification, you may choose to undertake further study in qualifications such as the Foundation Degree in Hair and Beauty Management or further professional qualifications in Beauty Therapy or Non-medical Aesthetic qualifications such as Skin Peeling, Skin Needling or IPL Skin Rejuvenation.
