Overview

This course is suited to students interested in learning the skills to carry out the Indian Head Massage Treatment. Students will be trained in a realistic working environment in the college’s state of art salons. Students will experience the commercial salon and will engage with customers.

Students who do not hold a qualification in hairdressing/beauty will need to undertake a unit in health and safety at an additional fee of £23. Students will be required to purchase a uniform and a waxing kit is recommended.

This qualification will develop your knowledge and understanding of the Indian Head Massage treatment. Furthermore, you will learn about anatomy and physiology to provide this treatment. You will also develop the practical skills to competently provide this treatment along with the consultation and aftercare advice required.

No but if you do not hold a current Health & Safety Award you will be required to enrol, this will incur an additional cost.

A combination of practical observations and an on-line theory test are used to assess this qualification.

Students who successfully complete the Level 3 Award in Indian Head Massage can progress to a range of industry relevant courses in Body Massage, Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology or Level 3 Diploma in Complimentary Therapies

This course will be delivered and assessed in 16 weeks.

Students will be required to purchase a uniform on commencement of the programme.
