Funding Support for Students
This course has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in how to provide threading treatment. This course is suitable for beginners, hairdressers or beauty therapists looking to expand their skill set. Students will be expected to undertake assessments in a realistic working environment.
On this course you will learn how to carry out threading treatment using a range of different techniques to include mouth, hand and neck. The treatment areas for this qualification are lip, chin and eyebrow.
If you do not hold a current Health & Safety Award you will be required to enrol, this will incur an additional cost.
A combination of practical observations and a theory test are used to assess this qualification.
Students who successfully complete this qualification may choose to undertake further study e.g., Level 2 Lash and Eyebrow Treatments, Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy or Level 3 Award in Permanent Lashes.
Students will be required to purchase a kit and a uniform on commencement of the programme.
A Health & Safety qualification will be required to enrol, if you don't have this you will incur an additional cost.
