The Enniskillen campus was filled with energy and on Tuesday as Year 1 BTEC Level 3 students led a “Victory Walk” in support of Care for Cancer. What began as a simple idea within their Career Builder module grew into a meaningful community event that brought students and staff together for a shared cause.

Francine’s academic journey into healthcare began at South West College, where she completed the Pearson BTEC Level 4 HNC in Applied Science (Biology) before progressing to the BSc Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging programme at Ulster University Magee.
South West College has been awarded the Autism NI Impact Award for Education in recognition of its ongoing commitment to supporting autistic and neurodivergent students and staff and for creating a more inclusive learning and working environment.

South West College works in partnership with local companies to provide opportunities for young people and adults to undertake apprenticeships, increasingly at higher levels, studying at the College whilst employed.
Recently, the Going Places Programme run by the South West College in Strabane and funded by the Department for Communities, held its annual celebration of success.
