This Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Brickwork qualification has been developed for delivery in a working environment. This means you need to be employed to study this qualification. This course has been designed to develop and recognise your skills, knowledge and competence so that you can work within the construction industry or progress onto further learning.
You will be able to demonstrate in a real workplace environment, that you are competent against a set of performance statements. The learner will learn key practical skills and knowledge in a variety of areas. See list of modules.
The minimum age requirement for this qualification is 16 plus. however it is necessary for applicants to have achieved the Level 2 qualification in brickwork or have substantial industry experience in this area. All applicants must be in paid employment to complete the course.
Achievement of this qualification will be assessed via a combination of knowledge testing in the format of multiple choice questions and practical assessments.
This Level 3 qualification will give you a robust understanding of Trowel Occupations and enables progression into employment. On completion students can progress onto Higher Education qualifications such as Level 4/5 Foundation Degree programmes.
You will be required to complete Essential Skills in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT if you do not have a GCSE grade C or Level 2 Essential Skills in English, Maths and Information Technology.
