Let Play Lead The Day!

Tapestry Childhood Education Platform teamed up with the phenomenal Amber Ogunsanya-William, @playworkeramber, an award-winning inclusive playworker and consultant whose story and advocacy are transforming how families and communities embrace play every day.

Together, they’ve created something truly special:

  • A joyful animation inspired by Amber's childhood in an adventure playground, showing how imagination can turn everyday objects into unforgettable adventures. From being inspired by her dad who is an adventure playground manager... to Amber becoming one of the most impactful advocates and voices for everyday play!
  • A free downloadable resource packed with playful prompts, developmental insights, and gentle encouragement for grownups ready to rediscover play with no pressure, just possibility

Our Level 2 and Level 3 Children's Care, Learning and Development Students were delighted to receive a workshop using the new resources at our Dungannon Campus. We were joined by Amber, who explained the power of play to our group, and gave them the opportunity to explore this within themselves, and consider how they can empower the children within their care.

Amber also had some inspirational words for the group, encouraging them to reach out to the tutors around them for support and to remember that they can do anything they set their mind to.

Our students are looking forward to utilising the resources within their settings.
