What can I expect at the Apprentice Connect Event?

SWC is preparing to host their annual Apprentice Connect event. The events will run

  • Tuesday 30th April 2024 – Omagh campus 6:30-8:30pm
  • Wednesday 1st May 2024 – Dungannon campus 6:30-8:30pm
  • Thursday 2nd May 2024 – Enniskillen Technology & Skills centre 6:30-8:30pm

What can I expect at Apprentice Connect?

The event will offer visitors the chance to meet potential employers face-to-face and discover what apprenticeships are available.

The event, organised by the SWC in conjunction with local employers, will offer school leavers and visitors the chance to find out more about local apprenticeship opportunities starting in September 2024. The event will promote the College’s range of apprenticeship options available to young people and is suitable for both A Level and GCSE school leavers as well as the wider public.

  • Learn about Apprenticeships, Higher Level Apprenticeships and Traineeships
  • Meet potential employers with job opportunities face-to-face, seeking to recruit Apprentices and Higher-Level apprentices
  • Speak to college staff and find out more about the range of Apprenticeships and Higher-Level Apprenticeships available
  • View college facilities and find out about the next steps
  • SWCs Careers Advisors will also be on hand to offer expert advice for those undecided about their career or study pathway
