Funding Support for Students
The VTCT Level 2 Award in LED Gel Polish Techniques is a single unit award qualification about applying, maintaining and removing LED gel polish products to the nails.
This qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to prepare for the service and maintain effective health, safety and hygiene working practices throughout the treatment. You will also learn about applying, maintaining and removing LED gel polish products to the nails.
No however if you do not hold a current VTCT Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (COVID 19) for Beauty Therapy and Nail Services you will be required to enrol, this will incur an additional cost.
A combination of practical observations and a written questions are used to assess this qualification.
Students who successfully complete this qualification may choose to undertake further study; qualifications you could progress to include Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Level 2 Award in Nail Technology.
This course will be delivered and assessed in four weeks.
Students who do not have a suitable uniform will be required to purchase a uniform on commencement of the programme. Kit is also advisable.
If you do not hold a VTCT (ITEC) Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (COVID-19) for Complementary Therapies and Sports Massage qualification you will be required to enrol, this will incur an additional cost.
