Step 1
The Beginner class will take place from September until January and concentrates on Speaking/Listening. Students will achieve the OCN NI Entry Level 3 Award in Speaking/Listening.
There are no entry requirements for this course.
Students can progress to OCN NI Entry Level 3 Award in Spanish (reading and writing) in the second semester.
This qualification is practical and encourages students to learn skills needed to enjoy holidays in the country of the target language. You learn the appropriate vocabulary, pronunciation and intonation at each of the levels, as well as some grammar. Topics that are covered are: Greetings; Home and Family; House/ Area where you live; Shopping; Food and Drink; Asking and Giving Directions; Work; Weather and Time; Accommodation.
