Funding Support for Students
This course provides the knowledge and training on the use of electrical files when applying nail enhancements and during maintenance treatments. This course is suitable for beauty therapists or nail technicians who are looking to expand their skill set. Students will undertake assessments in a realistic working environment.
Students who do not hold a qualification in hairdressing/beauty will need to undertake a unit in health and safety at an additional fee of £45. Students will be required to purchase a uniform and a waxing kit is recommended.
This qualification will give you an understanding of electrical files and their application in nail services.
Level 2 Award in Nail Technology or equivalent.
Practical observations and online testing.
On completion of this qualification, you may choose to undertake further study in relevant Beauty Therapy or Nail Technology.
Students will be required to purchase a uniform and kit on commencement of the programme.
