Funding Support for Students
City and Guilds Certificate in Skills for Working Life Entry 3 is designed to provide an introduction to working life. The course will focus on some of the following areas: Personal Development, Creative Skills, ICT, Horticulture and Sport and Leisure as well as more generic employability and life skills designed to build confidence for the workplace. Learners will gain an overview of key skills and areas of knowledge in order to inform further study and/or employment choices in the areas named above. This qualification will help learners develop the personal and work-related skills that could enable progression into further learning or supported employment, or enhance independent living skills. It will run two days per week over two years.
