ACCA is the global body for professional accountants. Employers know and respect the qualifications and value the skills taught. It is relevant to all areas of accountancy and finance. At SWC we offer the qualification at two levels – Applied Skills and Strategic Professional. To become a qualified accountant, you must also get relevant, supervised practical experience. This proves to employers that you have proven experience and practical skills relevant to the role. You can complete your work experience before, during or after your exams.
In order to achieve the complete ACCA Qualification, students have to:
- Complete a maximum of 13 exams, depending on prior experience and qualifications.
- Complete an Ethics and Professional Skills module.
- Evidence three years of practical work experience within a relevant role.
This means that students can complete the ACCA Qualification in a minimum of three years.
