If you are awaiting exam results, good luck. If you are unsure of what to do next, then South West College Registration Days this August could be just for you.
The College offers an extensive range of full-time courses ranging from A level equivalent courses which offer pathways to university or employment, apprenticeship programmes and honours degrees, plus a range of professional courses in a wide range of subject areas, all locally on your doorstep.
We know that for prospective students choosing the right course can be a tough decision. Your time after school is a life-changing opportunity where you learn the skills needed to make a difference in the lives of others.
Once you get your exam results call into one of your local South West College campuses at Dungannon, Enniskillen or Omagh where our Careers Advisors and tutors will be on hand offering young people and their parents; free, impartial and tailored information on their options.
The advice we offer is designed to help young people and their parents understand the range of career opportunities and pathways available to them, helping them to make better, informed choices.
Students who study at the College benefit from smaller class sizes allowing for a more focused teaching approach, cheaper tuition fees, industry standard facilities and equipment to help gain the skills employers are looking for, industry accredited qualifications and tutors who have industry expertise.
All programmes are developed in line with industry demand to ensure that they provide the right skills for progression to further study or employment.

At South West College we aim to provide you with stimulating and industry relevant experience and qualifications, created in line with employer’s needs. You will have the opportunity to undertake valuable work experience, placements and project based learning to help prepare you for the world of work and develop the vital skills and experience employers are looking for.
South West College Principal and Chief Executive Celine McCartan explains “Deciding on the next step after leaving school can be a daunting and anxious time and young people and parents don’t always know what career courses or learning opportunities are available to them. Some people may have performed under their expectations, while others may be unsure about which route to take. The important thing is not to panic. Our team of expert careers advisors can talk young people through their individual situations, enabling them to see for themselves what options are available to them.
“With the growing costs of university tuition fees and the cost of living, it is vital that young people wishing to obtain qualifications are aware of the range of options available to help them make better, informed choices and I would encourage them to look at provision that’s on offer as they look to the next step of their educational journey.”
If you are still undecided, don’t worry, nothing will help you with making your mind up more than attending our campuses to have all questions answered, whether it be about the application process, finance or our courses. Individuals will have the opportunity to have a one to one chat with our academic and support staff who will help guide and support you every step of the way.
As always, please get in touch if you have any further questions or if we can support in anyway. We look forward to welcoming you. Tel: 028 8225 0109 or email admissions@swc.ac.uk or call into your local campus to talk with our expert team.
