South West College and Lough Erne Resort recently collaborated on the development and delivery of a bespoke ILM Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification which was designed to support the growing needs of the business. As a result, 6 members of the Resort team successfully achieved the Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management with the qualifications funded by the Department for the Economy’s Skills Focus programme.
The Skills Focus programme is designed to help meeting business needs by increasing the skills levels of the existing workforce, with qualifications at Level 2 and above. South West College can then deliver flexible training solutions to the business in terms of training time, class size and location.
Rachel Duncan, Skills Support Officer, South West College said;
“I would like to congratulate the members of staff at Lough Erne Resort who achieved the Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management. The achievement demonstrates their commitment to continued professional development and a willingness to help shape the future of the business.
South West College is delighted to have such a strong working relationship with one of Ireland’s leading hospitality providers and we are proud that such strong feedback was received from the student cohort for the course content and the flexibility of the delivery.”
