South West College (SWC) is inviting prospective learners to discover the wide range of part-time courses available at its upcoming Part-Time Open Evening events, taking place across all campuses at Omagh, Dungannon, Enniskillen Technology and Skills Centre, and Erne on Wednesday 27 August, from 6pm to 8pm.

The events will provide an opportunity to explore courses starting in September 2025, with lecturers and support staff available to answer questions about subjects, funding options, and the application process.

With an extensive selection of courses on offer such as aromatherapy, lash and brow treatments, barista skills, and cookery, to cyber security, bookkeeping, Spanish, and food safety hygiene, there is truly something for everyone, whether you are looking to advance your career, retrain in a new sector, or simply learn for enjoyment.

Each year, hundreds of students choose to join SWC’s part-time programmes, which are designed to be flexible and fit around work, family, and personal commitments. Courses range from entry level to degree qualifications, many of which are validated by leading universities.

Vocational and professional courses at SWC have helped countless students to upskill, secure promotions, retrain for new careers, and re-engage with education. Many of the College’s qualifications are career-focused, designed to equip learners with the skills most valued by local employers.

Part-time study offers a wealth of benefits from boosting earning potential and gaining new qualifications, to applying fresh skills directly in the workplace. Flexible and accessible, it provides the perfect balance of learning without the need to give up existing work or personal commitments.

Whether you are aiming to progress in your current role, take a new career path, or simply explore a personal interest, your future is our focus.
