Top Grades and Bright Futures for South West College Students

South West College (SWC) is celebrating another year of outstanding student achievement, as hundreds of students from its Enniskillen, Dungannon and Omagh campuses received their Level 3 Extended Diploma results on Thursday, 13 August.

Students across a wide range of subject areas achieved exceptional outcomes, with many securing top grades and progressing to their first-choice university courses, Higher Education programmes and apprenticeships. Others are moving directly into employment, equipped with the skills and qualifications needed to succeed in their chosen careers.

Across all campuses, there was a strong sense of celebration as students marked an important milestone in their educational journey. Students from a wide range of curriculum areas were among those celebrating their success, with many now preparing to progress to Higher Education, apprenticeships and exciting employment opportunities.

Among those celebrating was Harry Bradley, who was delighted to receive one Distinction Star and two Distinctions in the Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Business. Following his success, Harry is looking forward to continuing his studies at SWC, progressing to the Ulster University Foundation Degree in Business Management Level 5.

Harry O'Lonan was all smiles as he celebrated achieving three Distinctions and a Merit in Digital Art and Design. Harry is now preparing to begin the next stage of his academic journey at Ulster University, where he plans to study Games Design.

Alex Bradley also had plenty to celebrate after achieving one Distinction Star and two Distinctions in Digital Art and Design. With a passion for creative media, Alex hopes to progress to Ulster University and pursue a future career in video game design, animation and digital content creation.

Their achievements reflect the talent, ambition and dedication demonstrated by students across SWC campuses, with many now taking the next step towards their chosen careers and further study opportunities.

Students praised their experience at SWC, highlighting the support of dedicated lecturing staff, modern learning facilities and the wide range of progression opportunities available to them.

These achievements reflect not only the dedication of our students, but also the support provided by our staff, parents and guardians throughout their educational journey.

We are delighted that many of today's successful students will continue their studies with us, while others embark on exciting new opportunities elsewhere.

Applications for September 2026 are still open across a wide range of full-time and part-time Higher Education courses, including Foundation Degrees, BSc Top-Up programmes and Full Honours Degrees, delivered in partnership with leading Higher Education institutions and awarding bodies.
