South West College (SWC) has officially welcomed hundreds of new and returning students across its Cookstown, Dungannon, Enniskillen and Omagh campuses this week as the new academic year gets underway.
Campuses were filled with excitement as students arrived to begin a wide range of programmes, including Further Education, Higher Education, Apprenticeships, Traineeships, Essential Skills and Work-Based Learning courses.
Throughout the week, students have been taking part in induction activities designed to help them settle into college life, meet their classmates and lecturers, and become familiar with the wide range of facilities and support services available to them. From course introductions and campus tours to team-building activities and student support sessions, induction has provided the perfect start to the year ahead.
Adding a sweet touch to the celebrations, students were treated to specially designed induction sweet carts, creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere while helping learners connect with one another during their first week.
Many students described their induction experience as both welcoming and informative, praising the friendly atmosphere and the support available as they begin their studies.
