South West College (SWC) recognized exceptional Further Education, Apprenticeship Students, and Schools Partnership pupils at this year's Celebration of Success events 2023. The prestigious ceremonies, held at the Omagh, Dungannon, and Erne campuses, honoured hundreds of outstanding learners who demonstrated academic, skills, and community excellence. Family, friends, and tutors gathered to applaud the awe-inspiring accomplishments of the best of the best in SWC's Further Education courses, including Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Diplomas.

On the day, Campus Managers at each campus welcomed students and their families from across the Tyrone, Fermanagh, and Mid-Ulster areas and acknowledged the hard work and determination that each and every learner has demonstrated.

While guests at the Erne campus awaited their awards, the Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council Thomas O'Reilly delivered an impactful speech highlighting the significance of lifelong learning and congratulating students on their accomplishments.

Guest speaker Jude McCaffrey, an experienced television producer who has worked on popular programs like 'Celebrity Mastermind' and 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire?', inspired the audience with his message of savouring success, being proud of achievements and working towards future goals.

During the event held at Omagh and Dungannon campus, Jordan Stinson, a former student and proud owner of Just Start Fitness and Revive Retreats, captivated the audience with his inspirational story of educational triumphs and entrepreneurial victories. His journey left a lasting impression on all attendees, motivating them to strive for greatness and never give up on their dreams.

Celine Mc Cartan, South West College Principal and Chief Executive offered closing remarks and expressed delight for another successful year while extending congratulations to all students.

“To each of the learners collecting awards today, I offer you my warmest congratulations. This is your day, one I am sure you have been looking forward to sharing in the company of your fellow classmates and lecturers, and of course with your family and friends, who have supported you every step of the way.

Today we acknowledge the best of the best, some awards recognise academic and skills excellence, whilst others reflect the dedication and commitment you have made to our college community and your future success. I hope you and your guests enjoy this memorable day, and I wish you continued success in the next stage of your career.”
