Beauty Therapy students of South West College are enthused to be organising a fundraising event along with Cancer Focus on Thursday 5 December 2013 from 10am to 7pm in the Dungannon Campus.
At the Pink Pamper Party, the students will be offering numerous treatments such as mini dermalogica facials, mini reflexology, threading, back massages and nail art each costing under £10. There will be tasty treats provided and a chance to win a pamper hamper and other great raffle prizes.
Kerrie Collins, a Level 3 Beauty Therapy student, told us: “Studies show that one in every three people will develop cancer at some point in life and we felt we wanted to put our talents to good use and raise money for a local cancer charity.”
Tanya Purvis, Curriculum Manager, said “We would ask everyone to take this opportunity to support Cancer Focus and indulge in an evening of relaxation. There will be many treatments on offer in a very professional but tranquil environment.”
The Cancer Focus van will look at diet, lifestyle and measure BMI/body composition. The Nurse will measure Blood Pressure and Blood Glucose and give any specific medical advice/referrals.
Booking is absolutely essential for the treatments and for the bus, so please call us on 028 8772 0609 to reserve your place.
