South West College's Erne Campus hosted the launch event for the new GAA team jersey for the 2025 Higher Education Football Championship recently. Attending the event were representatives from partner organisations including Fermanagh GAA, Elevate Kids and team sponsor, the Patrick Blake Group.

The team was represented by Vice-Captain, Gareth McGovern (Derrygonnelly Harps) and will kick of their championship season in January in the Electric Ireland Corn na Mac Leinn Cup, with the fixtures draw taking place in early December.

Dermott Feely, South West College' Senior Men and Ladies Team Manager said;

'Team sports are an integral part of college life for many of our students. At South West College we are passionate about our students taking part in extra-curricular programmes, clubs and societies and over the past few years, our GAA teams have been going from strength-to-strength.

We look forward to the new season kicking off in January, there are sure to be some exciting and nail-biting moments, but our players are up for challenge and I have no doubt they will continue to do the college proud.'
