Niamh’s journey from Level 3 to Level 6 and beyond

The Foundation Degree in Science in Health and Social Care students at Erne Campus were treated to a special guest talk from Niamh Elliott on Thursday afternoon, where they had the chance to hear about her progression journey in Health and Social Care.

Niamh began her studies with Level 3 Children’s Care, Learning and Development, progressed to the Level 5 Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care (UU), and is now completing her BSc (Level 6) top‑up at Ulster University. She shared her experiences, challenges, achievements, and insights into studying at each stage of her academic journey.

She also talked about her exciting next steps; progressing to Liverpool Hope University to undertake a postgraduate qualification in primary teaching and she offered helpful guidance for anyone considering similar pathways.
We are delighted that she could join us and we wish her every success with her Postgraduate journey.
