South West College is pleased to announce the offering of five Higher Education Community scholarships to students who are due to complete a Level 3 programme this summer. The Higher Education Community Scholarships are part of South West College's commitment to widening access and participation in higher education.

Three scholarships will be offered to pupils from local feeder schools, and two scholarships will be offered to SWC students, for full-time study on various HE programmes, including;

The scholarships cover the full-time tuition fees for the three years of study, with a total value of £10,150 for the three-years of study. Applicants must meet eligibility criteria including achieving no less than 112 UCAS points for A-Level, BTEC, OCR Cambridge Technical qualifications, having a minimum of 5 GCSEs with English and Maths at grade C or above, and being in receipt of EMA at the time of their Level 3 assessment.

Applicants must submit a 500-word statement detailing their preferred course and why they feel they should receive the SWC Higher Education Community Scholarship Award. The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday 23rd August 2024, and shortlisted applicants may be invited for interviews as part of the selection process.
