South West College and Mid Ulster District Council are set to host Tech for the Future, an exciting interactive evening at the college’s Dungannon Campus on Wednesday 1st October from 6pm to 8pm, offering the community a chance to experience first-hand the vast opportunities that careers in IT and technology can bring.
The event will bring together local employers, support organisations, and education specialists to highlight how technology is shaping every aspect of modern life. Attendees will have the chance to discover the many different pathways into IT—whether they are students, career changers, or simply curious about the sector.
From engineering and construction to agriculture and manufacturing, technology is driving change in industries that may surprise many. Visitors will see how these sectors rely on IT to innovate and grow, and how new career opportunities are emerging as a result.
Throughout the evening, guests will also be able to:
- Meet local employers and support organisations to learn more about career opportunities.
- Try out interactive equipment and engaging demos showcasing the latest technology.
- Get hands-on with immersive learning experiences led by South West College staff.
