Considering your options after A levels, Leaving Certificate or want to upskill?
South West College have a number of limited places available for their Higher Education qualifications at our campuses in Dungannon, Enniskillen and Omagh.
Many higher education courses can now be studied in flexible ways. There are different study types, work combinations and part-time options to suit busy lifestyles.
The courses can be taken on a full time or part-time basis meaning you can fit study around existing commitments like family, caring, part-time work, child care, etc.
With South West College offering options such as Foundation Degrees and full Honours Degree top ups, accredited by Pearson's, The Open University, Queens University Belfast and Ulster University you may find that you don't have to travel far to study a higher education qualification.
We work in partnership with universities local to us. This means you are able to study a full degree locally but be awarded the qualification by a university. In addition, you often have access to the University’s resources such as online support or library services.
Our courses relate directly to certain jobs or industries and include practical work experience as part of the course. Foundation Degrees take two years full time or 3 years part time with the option of topping up to a full degree in the third year.
There are many paths leading into higher education, whether you're a school leaver, mature student or returning to learning – it’s all about studying in a way that suits you.
By studying with us you'll benefit from cheaper tuition fees, smaller class sizes allowing for greater learner interaction and as we are local you can live at home and keep your part-time job and save on rented accommodation.
