For those currently employed within the Motor Vehicle Industry or working in a middle manager's role, the South West College (SWC) automotive team invite you to come along to the Omagh campus on Tuesday, 27th September, from 6 pm to 8 pm. To learn more about SWC’s part-time Level 5 Automotive Management course and Level 4 certificate in Advanced Automotive Diagnostic Techniques, which are now enrolling for September 2022 start.

Guests will have the opportunity to explore the campus, meet staff, discuss funding opportunities and speak to our friendly Lecturers about your specific needs, as well as enrol for the courses on the night.

The courses are suitable for those holding a Level 3 NVQ Diploma or currently employed within the Industry and have been specifically designed for project managers, department heads, and other practising middle managers. They are also suitable for businesses that want to upskill their staff and those employed in the automotive industry who want to develop their skills and experience, improve their performance, or prepare for senior management responsibilities.

The accredited part-time Level 5 Automotive Management course will start on Wednesday 28th September at our Omagh campus. It is specifically contextualised for the automotive environment and will provide a broad overview of the workplace, especially in organisational structures focusing on leadership, business planning, project management, finance, marketing, staff development and support, compliance and customer service.

Learners will develop their management qualities over two years and will gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to progress to higher levels of management within the motor vehicle industry as well as further education opportunities at the College, such as the Ulster University Foundation Degree in Business Management or Ulster University BSc (Hons) in Business Studies

The Level 4 certificate in Advanced Automotive Diagnostic Techniques will be available to study part-time at our Dungannon, Omagh and Enniskillen Technology and Skills Centre. The 30 week accredited course will enhance learner’s diagnostic skills to a higher level, and will develop their practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to provide a range of technical and personal development support to colleagues.

Learners can look forward to great employment opportunities and can expect to progress within their career or advance in to higher education courses such as IMIAL Level 5 Diploma in Automotive Management.

Each of the courses incorporate the most up-to-date industry knowledge and technology which, together with experienced and qualified staff, enables learners to be trained to the highest industry standards.
