Omagh - SWC (South West College) is proud to announce an exciting exhibition of student artwork that showcases the immense talent of future creatives. The exhibition opening will take place at 1:30pm May 15th with the exhibition running until May 27th, 2023, and will feature a range of artwork from BTEC Extended Diploma in Art & Design students.

Organized by Year 2 Art and Design Practice students, the exhibition's theme is Culture and Traditions. The showcased artwork will represent a diverse range of mediums and techniques, from paintings and sculptures to photography and digital art. Alongside the second-year work, the exhibition will also feature artwork from Year 1 students exploring themes such as Sustainability.

"We are incredibly excited to showcase the work of our talented students," said Helen McFarland, Art and Design lecturer at SWC. "Our students progress to colleges and universities all over the UK, and we believe that this exhibition will provide them with a valuable opportunity to showcase their skills and creativity to a wider audience."

The exhibition will take place at the Strule Arts Centre in Omagh and will be open to the public daily. At the opening visitors will have the opportunity to view the artwork, meet the artists, and learn more about the creative process behind the works.

"We invite everyone to come and explore the work on display," said Helen. "It's a fantastic opportunity to support our students and witness the incredible talent that will shape the future of the art world in Omagh and beyond."
