Overview

Do you have a passion for construction and farming, but you are not sure which to pursue? Why not enrol on our new Pearson Level 3 National Diploma in Construction with National Extended Certificate in Agriculture. This Level 3 qualification will give you the option to progress into Higher Education in either the construction or agriculture sectors, or can be your doorway into a career in either sector.

The aim of the course is to build upon the interest learners may already have in the fields of both construction and agriculture, to develop their skills, deepen their understanding, and prepare them to progress to Higher Education, or alternatively enter employment in either sector directly.

During the course students will be able to undertake additional qualifications to support their main programme of study – e.g. 2D AutoCAD, Construction Skills Register (CSR) Card. Guest speakers from disciplines across industry will also regularly deliver lectures on specialised topics. All learners will be given the opportunity to undertake a short work placement in the Construction/Civil Engineering or Agriculture sectors during their course of study.
