Funding Support for Students
This short course will enable learners to understand the causes and effects of stress and how mindfulness techniques can be used to address these. This course will be delivered online.
There will be 4 learning outcomes covered as follows:
1 - Be aware of the causes and effects of stress on children.
2 - Know how a child’s brain develops.
3 - Know the benefits of mindfulness to a child’s development.
4 - Know how to apply mindfulness techniques to reduce stress and/or anxiety.
There are no specific entry requirements for this course.
Students will be required to produce a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the learning outcomes.
