Funding Support for Students
This Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Servicing and Maintaining Refrigeration Systems will appeal to students that have completed the Level 2 Diploma and want to continue their studies within the industry. You will need to be in employment within industry to complete this Level 3 qualification.
Students will learn about and understand Halocarbon 'fluorinated' refrigeration system system service and maintenance techniques needed to work as an engineer within the industry.
Students must have achieved a grade C in GCSE English and Maths, or level 2 Essential Skills Numeracy and Literacy. Level 1 ICT must also be completed. Students must also have completed level 2 qualification in Refrigeration
Theory units are assessed by online evolve examinations at the end of each unit. An onsite NVQ log book must be completed to show evidence gathered from your workplace.
On completion students have an opportunity to progress to Level 4 Site Supervision or Level 5 Building Services with Sustainable Energy Foundation Degree .
As an Apprenticeship NI student (18 - 24yrs old) you will be expected to find employment within the industry and will be paid a wage from your employer) Training Support Officers can assist you with this.
