Funding Support for Students
The Level 3 Certificate in Providing Financial Services provides a range of knowledge and practice required to work in the insurance industry. The Level 3 NVQ Diploma (600/1639/5) is the competence qualification and the theory is delivered by completion of CII IF2 General Insurance qualification. The NVQ is delivered over 6 months, by one half-day workshop per month, with observations and ongoing assessment in the workplace.
You will benefit from skills development in team working, report writing and complaints handling in the workshops, providing evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however, learners must have the potential to successfully gain the qualification. The minimum age requirement for this qualification is 16 plus.
Achievement of this qualification will be assessed via a combination of knowledge testing under exam conditions and practical assessments, on work based evidence and direct observation in the workplace.
Learners can progress onto Level 4 qualification in Providing Financial Services.
You will be required to complete Essential Skills in Literacy and Numeracy at an appropriate level if you do not have a GCSE grade C or Level 2 Essential Skills in English and Maths.
