The Level 2 Certificate in Providing Financial Services provides a range of knowledge and practice required to work in the insurance industry. The Level 2 NVQ Diploma (600/1624/3) is the competence qualification and the theory is delivered by completion of CII IF1 Insurance, Legal & Regulatory qualification. The NVQ is delivered through observations and ongoing assessment in the workplace.
You will benefit from skills development in time management, planning, prioritising and organising work, in addition to learning about the insurance market, legal principles and procedures and the major classes of insurance.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however, learners must have the potential to successfully gain the qualification. The minimum age requirement for this qualification is 16 plus.
Achievement of this qualification will be assessed via a combination of knowledge testing in the format of multiple choice questions under exam conditions and practical assessments on work based evidence and observations in the workplace.
This level 2 qualification will give you the opportunity to progress to Level 3 in Providing Financial Services.
You will be required to complete Essential Skills in Literacy and Numeracy at an appropriate level if you do not have a GCSE grade C or Level 2 Essential Skills in English and Maths.
