Funding Support for Students
This programme enables you, the learner, to demonstrate and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real workplace environment so you can work in Dry Lining Fixing within the construction industry. This programme supports the learner to attain enabling, fundamental and transferable practical skills with associated underpinning knowledge.
This programme includes the following units;
All modules are mandatory.
GCSE English Grade C or equivalent GCSE Mathematics Grade C or equivalent
You will be assessed against a set of performance and knowledge statements by an occupationally competent and qualified assessor whose job is to work with you and help you complete your qualification. A portfolio of evidence for both knowledge and competence outcomes is required.
Level 3 Interior Systems (Dry-lining)
Successful applicants must be employed at the commencement of this apprenticeship and will complete both a knowledge qualification (Diploma) and competence qualification (NVQ) on day release to SWC. As part of this programme you will also be provided with opportunity to undertake Health and Safety (Construction Skills Register) training.
