Funding Support for Students
This qualification is designed for project managers, department heads, and other practising middle managers to develop skills and experience, improve your performance and prepare for senior management responsibilities. The qualification is made up of a broad range of units covering skills in six core areas: Achieving Results;Facilitating Innovation and Change;Managing Yourself and Personal Skills;Providing Direction;Using Resources.Working with Learners;The flexibility in unit choice allows the qualification to be tailored to meet the needs of the Learners and the employer with over 50 units available to choose from.

Students will learn how to develop their ability to lead, motivate and inspire. Use core management techniques to drive better results, provide strategic leadership as well as day-to-day management. Benchmark their managerial capability and raise their professional profile within the organisation.
Participants will be practising middle managers with experience to meet the assessment demands and have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme. Applicants who have achieved the Level 3 ILM in Leadership & Management will also be considered.
An interview is required prior to entry on this programme.
The Flexible Skills Fund programme will be accessible to all groups, those in employment and unemployment. To be eligible for these courses participants must be:
Knowledge, understanding and application to industry will be principally assessed through written assignments, presentations and professional discussions. There are no formal examinations.
Learners could progress to the ILM L5 Diploma or any other suitable relevant qualification

Engage middle managers with training and development – this qualification is designed to provide clear, measurable benefits to career-minded professionals. During your course you may be required to purchase course text books and incur additional costs for printing, photocopying and binding. The overall additional costs incurred to support your studies may be in the region of £250 per year. *The fees quoted are payable for each year.
