Funding Support for Students
BPW has recently collaborated with South West College (Omagh Campus) to form a Northern Ireland based training centre in a drive to support local access to BPW accredited heavy axle training courses. The BPW Axle and Suspension Service and Maintenance is a high quality training course giving students access to the latest axle equipment for training and demonstration purposes. Successful candidates will be certified with BPW for three years.
SWC will provide BPW’s in-depth training course throughout the year which covers several modules. These include the patented BPW ECO Hub Systems, drum and disc technology as well as the BPW range of suspension systems. In following BPW’s certified training programme, technicians will have to meet exacting standards. As part of this co-operation, SWC has ready access to all the essentials: everything it needs in terms of working exhibits and kits for hands-on classroom training, which is an essential part of this two-day course.
Heavy vehicle maintenance experience is required.
