What is ACCA Applied Skills

ACCA is the global body for professional accountants and employers know and respect this qualification and value the skills taught. It is a Level 6 Higher Education Course which is relevant to all areas of accountancy and finance. To become a qualified accountant, you must get relevant, supervised practical experience which proves to the employer that you have the skills necessary to do the job. Choosing the HLA route gives you two years’ practical experience which means that you have just one-years’ experience and strategic professional exams to complete to become a qualified accountant.

The ACCA Qualification gives you the most up-to-date skills you need to become a finance professional. Threaded through the whole journey are the ethics and values students need to make a difference, and because you can only qualify after completing at least 36 months of hands-on professional experience, students become exceptionally valuable to employers.
