Use of Premises - Terms & Conditions
Bookings shall be made via the Website (link). All bookings are assessed on a case-by-case basis and will be confirmed in writing by email. A minimum of one month’s notice is required.
Details of Attendees
Any changes in attendance numbers should be notified in writing promptly by email to email@example.com
Final numbers are required at least 5 working days before the date of use. Applicant will be responsible for holding detail of attendees should this be required in an emergency evacuation.
To cancel a booking, please email firstname.lastname@example.org providing a minimum of 10 working days’ notice. South West College reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the total booking value.
Settlement of Accounts
All accounts will be subject to Value Added Tax at the prevailing rate. Payment terms are 28 days net after the date of invoice. Overdue accounts may be charged interest at the rate of 2.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
Insurance and Indemnities
Applicants must have adequate and current public liability insurance in place to cover any claims for which they may be held responsible. The College reserves the right to request a copy on application.
The College accepts bookings on the understanding that if it cannot meet its obligations because of circumstances beyond its control, the College will not be held liable for loss suffered either by the body making the booking or any other third party.
SouthWest College is a neutral organisation open to all communities for educational purposes. Therefore, the College does not accept bookings from any political party as this could be deemed to interfere with this stance.
